Take pictures of the batteries inside the cabinet (ensure pictures are date and time stamped and pictures should be taken at every stage )
If site has DG, connect a 10kVA mobile DG and switch off grid. If site has DG, put DG in manual mode and disconnect grid power
Carefully isolate ethernet connection from the battery, maintaining the connection on the K2 side. Remove the COM cables between batte
Switch off all battery breakers
Disconnect battery cables and remove the installed LIB batteries.
Clean cabinet ventilator/door filter, rectifier and battery cabinet using an air blower.
Clean and ensure functionality of the air suction fans (Located on top of the rectifier cabinet) – this applies to Delta cabinets
Undertake minor repairs on the doors e.g. panel beating the door in case found bent or broken
Very carefully drill holes into the cabinet, through which the strap bolts are fixed and fastened onto cabinet with nuts from inside the cabin
Install and fasten the steel metal straps firmly onto cabinet using nuts and bolts (steel metal straps and accessories to be provided by ATC U
Seal up all the holes fabricated into the cabinet with scaflex -11 FC sealant, using a silicon gun and also ensure that the upper joining surfac
sealant required are attached.
Replace the LIB batteries and reinstall battery cables firmly
Reinstall connection between battery and the RMS.
If site has no DG, switch on grid power and disconnect mobile DG. If site has DG, put DG back in auto.
Check with ATC NOC to ensure that there are no alarms on the batteries and that all batteries are visible on Galooli.
Lock cabinet with the outside security straps and deploy Acsys padlocks on straps (See picture 01 for desired outlook after installation of st
Get sign-off from ATC O&M site supervisor
Log in with the ATC NOC
Take pictures of the batteries inside the cabinet (ensure pictures are date and time stamped and pictures should be taken at every stage )
