North for the term 2018-2022. I know our community will be well
represented by Jenna as I’ve seen her in action with the Kanata Food
Cupboard and the Kanata North Business Association. Congratulations also
to all of the other successful candidates. For the three incumbents who lost,
something that happened to me in the past, take time to recover and then
move forward to new challenges and opportunities. I’m particularly pleased
that we again have 7 very capable women on Council, back to the number in
2006 when I returned to municipal governance. I’ll be going over issues
with Jenna during the transition stage so that she can immediately deal with
local matters on December 1st.
CITY COUNCIL – I’m in office until November 30th so until then send me
your inquiries and issues. Jenna will do a great job to help you when she
arrives on December 1st, so at that time you can reach her at City Hall.
SAVE THE DATE - NOVEMBER 27, 7PM, KANATA NORTH TOWN HALL,
Beaverbrook Library Halls A & B - This will be my final Town Hall as your
Councillor so, as well as dealing with any new issue, I will provide you with a
wrap up of all issues underway. I will present a chart of known
developments underway or projected to provide an understanding to you
and Jenna on what is happening in our area. I will have an informal get-
together at the end with refreshments as I pass the torch to Jenna. The
meeting portion will also be available on Facebook Live.
