How the torque is measured?

 The common way of measuring the maximum torque

on impact wrenches is by running the tool on a
torque tester called Skidmore-Wilhelm®. 3/8" 10 mm 2,5 m model J 7/8"

 Depending of the Impact wrench, different torque 1/2" 10 mm 2,5 m model M/RL 1"
testers are used according the table attached.
3/4" 13 mm 3m model H 1 1/4"

 When comparing and evaluating stated torque levels 1" 16 mm 3m model K 1 3/4”
for Atlas Copco range of tools, the equipment in the
table described must be used.

 To choose the correct tool always check

recommended bolt size and test torque on the
application.
