Introduction

Does science prove God is neither required nor even existent? Is evolution as the cause of life the only
reasonable conclusion to which one can arrive after pursuing higher education and a professional career
as a scientist? Can a “good scientist” be anything but an atheist? Is creation science an oxymoron?
Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going?

Join us in the exploration of issues in sciences that will perhaps shed more light on the intricacies and
implications of these questions — we hope to enlighten, educate, and have fun discovering some lessons
science has for us.

The Challenge
We are Christians. However, we have decided not to proceed from a “Bible study” point of view, per se.
Rather, we intend to test a statement found in the Bible, Romans 1:20, which says, “God has made
himself clearly seen in the things which he has made.” Is it possible to “see God in nature”? Does science
point to God?

Disclaimer
We are not scientists. We sincerely hope to do justice to the exercise by presenting the thoughts of
scientists who feel there are not enough opportunities for their voice to be heard. Our list of works cited is
a valuable source for additional reading.
