This writing aims to provide information on what is leadership and how to

carry it out in the business environment:

Leadership is making people do it at the right time and in the right way; For
example, if one person knows how to sell, in 15 hours he can sell to 15 people; but
if he knows how to delegate with 1,000 people to sell, they will sell in 15 hours to
15,000 people.

In addition, according to the Harvard Business Review, Adaptive


Leadership, is no longer hierarchical positions in companies, all have the same
hierarchical level and the same ability to generate results and generate ideas. If a
company with three managers, is able to go far, imagine if there are more
collaborators in the process of making decisions, then it would go much further.

Moreover, according to Mauricio Benoist (2018), there are three basic rules
in the psychology of leadership:

● The psychology of leadership understands how people think, motivate and


enthuse them. You have to learn as a leader to give people safety; no one
likes to feel uncomfortable.

● Generate creative processes such as brainstorming, those ideas can mark


the future of your organization. The rule in companies is that there are no
rules.

● Learn to recognize your collaborators.

People hate punishment, so do not apply them, instead give them awards
and people will increase productivity. The most important quality of a leader is to
be credible; being authentic is the tool to be credible, this means that between
what we say or do there is no inconsistency, so if a person applies it, his message
will transcend.

Besides, according to Manuel Conde (2018), there are different types of


leadership shown below:

-Authoritarian
-Manager

-Manipulator

-Inspiring

-Ego

-Heart

-Transformer

Ego: Unconscious, it has to do with fear, it focuses its attention on the


charges not on the people, they see the people inferior to them, and they do not
care about the human condition, to consider themselves, they disregard others.

Heart: Conscious, understands people, gives them to understand that their


opinion counts, that their work is summative, they make them grow, they imply that
their absence is remarkable.

The effects achieved by those who lead by means of the ego, manage to
annul people; while the one who leads through the heart enhances people.

In conclusion, the best leadership is the transformational leadership


because they practice taking personal accountability, also connect with their
strengths, purpose and values and are willing to experiment with new behaviors
and take action. In addition, transformational leaders bring a mindset of curiosity
rather than judgment and look for the opportunity in change. Ultimately, the
essence of leadership is to put yourself in the place of the other, people will treat
you as you treat them; If we want to change the world, we have to change people,
it is giving to receive, an inertia.
