WOOD/ALUMINIUM WORK

NOTE : Unless otherwise specified, rates applied


for all items will include the following :-

Hold fasts of flat iron 300x40x5mm size


welded or screwed to the frame
1 embedded in concrete 1:3:6,
250x100/150mm, 200x150mm in the
support walls, 6nos. of holdfasts for doors
and 4nos. for windows.

First class well seasoned anjili wood or


equivalent country wood will be used for

all works. Documentary proof of factory
seasoning of wood brought to site to be
produced when called for.

3 Shall include the cost of the following


fittings for doors and windows.

a) 3/4 nos. of MS oxidised hinges of 150 /


75mm size for each door shutter /
windows.
Shall include only fixing charges of hasp
4 and staples, bath room latches, nylon
bush, door stopper, tower bolt, handles,
magnetic door catch, magic eye, pad
lock, aldrops, hook and eye, aldrops, door
closures etc., fixtures supplied by client

5 Sizes mentioned are finished sizes.

Providing and fixing 37 mm thick factory


made PVC Door shutter, styles and rails
made of PVC hollow extruded printed and
laminated section having overall

dimension 115 mm x 37 mm with wall
thickness 2 mm (± 0.2 mm) with inbuilt
beading on one side, the styles and rails
mitred cut and joint at corners by
inserting 2 nos PVC profile reinforcement
of size 75 mm x 200 mm long with cross
section size of 28 mm x 30 mm having
wall thickness 2 mm (± 0.2 mm).

Styles, rails and reinforcements to be


fusion welded together. Only hinge side
vertical style to be reinforced with PVC
profile reinforcement in full length.
Printed and laminated PVC lock rail of size
110 mm x 37 mm having wall thickness 2
mm (± 0.2 mm) to be welded horizontally
with the vertical styles after inserting

PVC profile reinforcement as in styles


and rails, providing with PVC snap fit
beading, panels of 100 x 20 mm printed
& laminated and inserting 2 nos 6 mm dia
bright steel rod horizontally with both
sidethreaded and tightened with check
nuts and washers complete, all asper
manufacturer's specification and direction
of engineer-in-charge.
