1) Casual leave and Station leave approver will be single level (Immediate Supervisor)

2) All other leaves must follow below workflow for approving of leaves:
a) For All Class I Officer's CGM HR
b) For Class II, III & IV of HR dept, CGM HR
c) For Class II, III & IV of Head Quarter apart from HR Dept, respective concerened CGM
d) For Class II of Fields, concerned CGM
e) For Accounts of II, III & IV, CGM F&A
f) For all other III & IV, other than accounts and Outside HQ, DGM Circle (Except Casual & Station)
d) In case of Subdivision, leave approval will be routed through SDE except for Casual/Station leave
3) Station leave can not be taken Post facto basis
4) Back dated casual leave should be allowed
5) Casual leave and Station leave can be applied and updated on a same date in SAP
6) Class I officer can avail 10 days of CL only after MD approval. For others, concerned CGM's approval is required
7) Extra Ordinary leave of Class I & II must go to MD for approval. For III & IV should not go to MD
8) MD can apply EEL only upto 90 days. Presently system should not allow to apply for more than 90 days.
9) If an employee has EL balance, system should not allow him to apply EEL
10) Casual leave does not count in between holidays and Saturday, Sundays. But other types of leaves do count like EL, HPL etc
11) Earned can not be applied on a days of Restricted Holiday
12) Earned leave can be applied for anydays irrespective of domestic or Medical ground (21 days validation abolished)
13) In case of Medical Leave, attachement is mandatory
14) In case of EL on Medical ground, attachement is mandatory
15) In case of Maternity leave, attachement is mandatory
16) Manernity and Child Care leave can only be applied by Female employees
17) Probationer can not apply maternity leave and Child Care leave
18) Maternity leave can be applied on Post facto basis
19) For Maternity Leave 1yr of Service completion check should be there
20) Only twice Maternity leave can apply in entire Service Period.
21) If IT0021 already has two Children records, then system will not let us apply Maternity Leave
22) Maximum 730 days CCL can be taken but must apply in two break up.
23) If a female employee has more than 2 children in IT0021, system will restrict applying CCL
24) CCL can be applied upto two Children both of should be below 18 yrs of age
25) In a year maximum thrice CCL can be applied.
26) A declaration Check box, "Age of the children below 18 years" is mandatory
27) Only one study leave can be applied in a service Life
28) Maximum duraion of study leave is 2 yrs. On the basis of special approval (Chairman/MD), it may get extended upto 3 yrs.
29) Employee must complete 5 yrs in APDCL, before applying Study Leave
30) In case of Study leave attachement is mandatory.
31) In case of study leave there will be options on the screen for providing Institution's Name, Course name & Course Duration

32) In case of EL, there will be an option for "Travel Abroad" as a reason. Maximum 180 days are allowed to apply on Foreign
33) Special Disability leave should be applied within 3 months of occurrence manifestation of the disability. So there must be a
needs to be filled by the employee as "Occurrence of Disability"
34) In Special Disability leave attachement is mandatory.
35) In case date of occurrence and apply date more than 3 months, a special Govt approval mandatory in case of Special Diasa
a check boxshould be there if it's more than 3 months
36) UUL can not be applied for more than 300 days.
37) In case a position is being held by two employees, in that case approval will flow to both of them.
38) Special Casual Leave is allowed only for 15 days
39) For any leave, if approver is not maintaied or transferred or retired, system will restrict in process of approval
40) A deadline of leave approval should be maintained in System. We need input from clients on this.
In some cases Like EEL, MD's approval is required.
