Unpacking
Place antenna on an appropriate surface, such as on top of the specially designed inlays in the packing
material. 0,6m antenna can be left in the box.

Tools required
 Allen key; 2,5mm for M3, 3mm for M4 and 5mm for M6.
 Combination wrench (ring/open jaw); 2pcs Hex 10 for M6 and 1pcs Hex 13 for M8.
 Tool for torque levels; 0,9Nm, 7Nm and 24Nm.

Assembly
Step 1 – OMT

a) Mount 8pcs M6 Hex distance with 8pcs Nuts through Adapter plates on OMT.
b) Use two Combination wrenches (Hex 10) and tighten the nuts with 7Nm±5%.

Step 2 – Feed and OMT on antenna

a) Remove 1pc protection tape on OMT.

b) Define which way is up on the antenna and turn OMT accordingly.

c) Remove 1pc protection tape from Feed.

Do NOT
remove Feed

d) Place OMT against Feed. Check that guide pins in OMT are properly inserted in guide
pin holes in Feed, mount 2pcs M6x50 (Allen) and tighten them by hand.
e) Mount 4pcs M8x25 (Hex) Polarization screws, through OMT, into Antenna and tighten
them with 24Nm±5%.
f) Tighten the 2pcs of screws M6x50 (Allen) with 7Nm±5%

Step 3 – IPL Lid kit (optional)
If only one radio shall be mounted an optional Lid can be mounted on the opposite side of OMT.

a) Remove protection tape (1pcs) from OMT interface plate.

b) Mount Lid with 3pcs M3x10 Screws (Allen) and tighten the screws with 0,9Nm±5%

Step 4 – Antenna and Radio equipment

a) Continue mounting the antenna according to antenna manual.
b) Remove protection tape (1 or 2pcs) from OMT and mount Radio equipment.

Polarization adjustment

a) Slightly loosen 4pcs of M8x25 (Hex) Polarization screws.

b) Adjust polarization by turning OMT ±5°.
c) Tighten the Polarization screws (4pcs) with 24Nm ±5%.
