AIBE EXAM SYLLABUS

 Constitutional law – This section will consist of the topics related to

parliament, judiciary, customary law, human right and international rules
and norms.

 Code of Civil Procedure – In this section, candidates will be given

questions related to conduct of trials, process of judgment and how the
courts and clerks must function.

 Criminal procedure code – This section of the paper will consist

questions from Indian Criminal Law. Moreover, this section will also have
questions related to the procedure of law.

 Family Law – In this questions will be related to marriage, domestic

partnership, adoption, paternity, child custody, surrogacy and juvenile
law.

 Labour and Industrial Laws – This section will include laws related to
workers and employees. Candidates will be tested on topics like
employment terms, child labour and discrimination.

 Cyber Law – This section of the paper will include questions related to
computing, Internet, software and electronic commerce.

 Public Interest Litigation – It refers to legal practices undertaken to help

poor or marginalized people, or to effect change in social policies in the
public interest.

 Indian Penal Code – It is the main Indian Criminal Code and have
questions related to Criminal Conspiracy and also Public Tranquility.

 Evidence Act – The candidates will also be asked questions regarding

this act of 1872. The candidates need to go through the integrities of
Evidence Act.
