The project is on the:

1. Design of an elliptic lowpass (under a given specifications) in the determination of

the optimum pole-zero pairing and ordering in minimizing the output noise power under
an ℒ∞ − 𝑠𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑟𝑢𝑙𝑒 of an 2. Realization of the elliptic lowpass transfer function as a
parallel connection of two allpass filters and determination of its power-complementary
highpass transfer function

The metrics are the gain responses of the two filters and verification of the low
passband sensitivity of the parallel allpass realization by making a 1% change in the filter
coefficients.
