(1) Note regarding COMPANY’s Marine Vetting Procedures:

The promotion of safety and the prevention of pollution from tankers and at terminals are central to
COMPANY policy using a technical risk assessment. Each vessel chartered by COMPANY, carrying
cargo for COMPANY or loading / discharging at a COMPANY terminal must receive the single voyage
approval of the COMPANY Vetting Department following a technical risk assessment.

For each voyage, such vetting shall be done. Following points are the main steps of such process
(non-exhaustive list):

- The vessels to fully comply with the provisions of the applicable international conventions, with the
rules, regulations and recommendations of the Classification Societies, Flag and Port State
Authorities, International Organizations such as OCIMF as well as the criteria of the COMPANY.

- The assessment recognizes the need for Senior Officers to be promoted internally and allow Owners
to occasionally recruit from external sources. What is fundamental is to ensure that adequate levels
of aggregated service are available for mentoring & support.

Accordingly, it is seen as a Negative observation if Captain & C/O (Chief Officer) OR C/E (Chief engineer)
& 1/E (First Engineer) have:
o Joined at the same time
o Aggregated time with Company < 2 years
o Aggregated time in rank < 3 years
o Aggregated tanker experience < 6 years

- All tankers should have a valid operational SIRE report available.

Valid meaning:

If the vessel is less than 15 years old, vessel will require an operational SIRE report (from any of
the SIRE submitter) of less than 12 months to cover the incoterm requested.
If the vessel is 15 years of age and above, vessel will require an operational SIRE report (from
any of the SIRE submitter) of less than 6 months to cover the incoterm requested.

Operational meaning:

For Crude, Product and Chemical tankers only SIRE reports done during discharging operations
can be considered.

- Age/limitation:
o Non use of any Crude / Product / Chemical tanker when > 20 years old
