Jackfruit is one of its own kinds of tropical
fruits, recognized for its unique shape, size,
appreciated from a distance. The fruit tastes
tropical fruits such as durians, bananas, etc. ,
and vitamins, and free from saturated fats or
summer threats to relish!
Jackfruit is a huge tree that grows to as
high as 30 meters, larger than a mango tree,
indigenous to the southwestern rain forests of
India. Today, it is widely cultivated in the
tropical regions of Indian subcontinent,
Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brazil for
its fruit, seeds and wood. The tree grows best
under tropical humid and rainy climates, but
rarely survives cold and frosty conditions.
In a season, each tree bears as many as
250 large fruits, supposed to be the largest
tree tree-borne fruits in the world. The fruit
varies widely in size, weighs from3 to 30kg
and has an oblong or round shape measuring
10 to 60cm long, with diameter 25 to 75cm.
While unripe fruits are green, they turn light
brown and spread a strong sweet, fruity smell
once ripe.
Its interior consists of eye-catching
orange-yellow color edible bulbs. Each bulb
consists of sweet flesh (sheath) that encloses
a smooth, oval, light- brown seed. There may
be as many as 50 to 500 edible bulbs
embedded in a single fruit interspersed in-
between thin bands of fibers.
 A jackfruit seed is encased inside a thin,
transparent outer cover. It’s largely composed
of starch and protein. Each seed measures
about 2 to 4 cm in length and 1 to 3cm in
thickness.

Green sea turtles are rarely seen on
land. They are endangered species with a
drastically reduced population.
Despite its name, a green sea turtles’s
shell is not always green. The shell can be a
blend of different colours including brown,
dark olive, grey or black. The shell is also

turtles actually received their colourful name
from the colour of their sub dermal

Green sea turtles are really big. They
can grow to 91-122 cm in length. They are
very dense and heavy animals. Despite their

Adult green sea turtles are herbivores.
The jaw is serrated to help the turtle easily
chew their primary food source- sea grasses
and algae. Meanwhile, juvenile green sea
turtles are omnivores. They eat a wide variety
of plant and animal life, including insects,
crustaceans, sea grasses and worms.
Green sea turtles have ocean water
habitats and nesting habitats. Once a green
sea turtles hatches and heads into the ocean,
it rarely returns to land. Instead, it feeds on

beaches.
