2. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR Engineering Manager

Projects Senior Engineer

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility 1 Maintain a safe working environment

Task 1.1 Ensure his working environment is maintained in a safe state.

Task 1.2 Be aware of and follow company procedures regarding fire drills, health and safety
inspections.

Task 1.3 Ensure any visitors are properly supervised and follow safety procedures while on company
property.

Task 1.4 Ensure the reporting of accidents and infectious diseases as required by company
procedure.

Task 1.5 Follow recommended practice in regard to visual display equipment and keyboard use, to
avoid potential problems.

Responsibility 2 Supervise construction activities for refinery modifications and changes

Review the Civil Engineering design for required projects and plant changes.

Task 2.1 Manage the schedule of off-site civil engineering design for major projects and plant changes..

Task 2.2 Supervise the Civil Engineering construction and handover activities related to the refinery civil
projects and plant changes.

Task 2.3 Supervising subcontractors for any needed works and activities related to the refinery civil
projects and plant changes.

Task 2.4 Follow-up procurement and receipt of materials.

Task 2.5 Make sure all of construction materials pass inspection and meet specifications.

Task 2.6 Carry out Cost Estimate for the refinery civil projects and plant changes.

Task 2.7 Technically evaluate Civil Projects and plant changes proposals.

Task 2.8 Coordinate with other departments to ensure safe implementation of works and plant changes.

Task 2.9 Report routinely to the Projects Senior Engineer.

Task 2.10 Ensure that all changes are fully recorded in terms of data and drawings.

Responsibility 3 Reporting

Task 3.1 Providing vital inputs to daily and periodic project progress and status reports to top
management and other stakeholder.
