Muschietti, berdasarkan pada novel tahun 1986 bernama sama karya
Stephen King. Skenarionya dibuat oleh Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga
dan Gary Dauberman.[5][6] Sebuah installment kedua direncanakan. Film
tersebut mengisahkan cerita dua anak di Derry, Maine, yang diteror
oleh sosok eponim, yang hanya menghadapkan iblis-iblis pribadi mereka

supernatural horror movie of 2017 directed by Andy Muschietti, based
on a 1986 novel named by Stephen King. The scenario was made by

installment is planned. The film tells the story of two children in Derry,
Maine, who were terrorized by the eponymous figure, who only
confronted their own personal demons in the process. The novel was

film grabbed a record box office record and made a profit of over $
404 million worldwide. [18] The film earned positive reviews, with
critics praising the performances of cast, directing, cinematographic,
and music; with some calling it one of Stephen King's best adaptations.

received a positive response from critics, especially regarding acting,
directing, and appropriateness of the original novel. Many people think
this film is one of the best adaptations of Stephen King's work. King
himself when watching his screening praised this film which he thought
had exceeded his expectations.
