4. FIRST AID
Inhalation: Move affected subject to a clean air area. If breathing is difficult apply medicinal oxygen and /or seek for immediate medical assistance.
Ingestion/Inhalation: Not frequent, but if it occurs it may cause gastrointestinal disorder. Inhalation through to the lungs during ingestion or vomit may produce lung damage.
Vomit must not be provoked. Seek for immediate medical assistance.
Skin/Eye Contact: Immediately remove affected clothing. Wash area with abundant soap and water during 15 minutes. Seek for medical assistance.
General Measures: In the presence of any type of contact, first seek for medical assistance, then proceed with the above measures.
Combustion Products: C02, H20, SOx Nox, CO (in case of incomplete combustion). In contact whit water, Nytrogen or Sulphide Oxides may produce acid vapors.
Special Measures: Keep containers with product away from fire area. Cool containers which are exposed to flames. If fire cannot be extinguished, let fire resume in a
controlled manner. Consult and apply emergency plans.
Special Dangers: Flammable Material. Vapors are heavier than air and may drift into distant ignition sources and ignite. Containers may explode due to heat of fire. Vapors
of light hydrocarbons may accumulate at head of containers with risk of flammability/explosion even at temperatures below flammability point of product. Danger of explosion
from vapors in the interior, exterior or in ducts, grill and gutters.
Protection Gear: Heat resistant garments, fit for fire fighting. When high concentration of vapors and fumes exists, utilize self-governing respiratory apparel or assisted fresh
air.
Detoxification and cleaning: Small spills: Remove with sand or other non combustible
absorbent and place in containers for later disposal. Large Spills: Use barriers (dams) to limit the Personal Protection: PVC gloves. Rubber boots with steel caps. Eye
spread of liquid in order to facilitate recovery and later disposal or elimination.Proceed according protection. Face masks or self-governing breathing gear if needed.
