MAURO Y. INSONG

I, MAURO Y. INSONG, Filipino, of legal age, married and a

resident of Carang, Dapitan City, after having been sworn to an oath
in accordance with law, depose and say:

PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

The person examining me is ATTY. ANNALLY T. ADJU with

office address at Door 6, G & K Building, National Highway, Turno,
Dipolog City. The examination is being held at the same address. I
am answering her questions fully conscious that I do so under oath
and may face criminal liability for false testimony and perjury.
The questions were propounded in Cebuano Visayan, a
language I know and understand, my answers are also in Cebuano
Visayan dialect for clarity and to fully express my answers. Atty. Adju
made the English translations of the questions and answers.

QUESTION AND ANSWER

1. Question: Nganong naa man ka karon sa akong opisina ug

nagpahimo niining affidavit?

Why are you here in my office and execute this affidavit?

Answer: Naa ko aron pagsaysay sa akong personal nga

kahibalu ana lang sa allegation
ngagipasakangareklamoni Ma. Rosaline L. Witter
batok sa akong asawa ngasi Nora O. Insong.

I am here to give my personal knowledge about the

allegation containin the Affidavit of Complaint

executed by Ma. Rosaline L. Witter against my

wife Nora O. Insong.

2. Question: ResidentebakasaCarang,Dapitan City?

Are you a resident of Carang, Dapitan City?

Answer: Oo sir.

Yes sir.

3. Question: Pilana man ka, katuigngaresidentesaCarang,

Dapitan City?

How long have you been a resident of Carang,

Dapitan City?

Answer: 45 years nakonga nag puyodihasaCarang, Dapitan

City.

I am a resident of Carang, Dapitan City for almost

42 years already.

4. Question: Na aba kayyutadihasaCarang, Dapitan City?

Do you have a parcel of land in carang, Dapitan

City?

Answer: Wala sir.

Peroakongasawaugiyahangpamilyana’ayyutadiha
saCarang.

No sir. My wife and her family own a parcel of land

in Carang.

5. Question: Unsa may naadihasayutasaimungasawa u

gang iyahang pamilya?

Answer: Naay tanom nga mga lubi ugsaging.

There is a coconut and banana tree.

6. Question: Who harvest the said coconut for copra in the

land owned by your wife and her family?

Answer: During the lifetime of my father in law I was the one

who will harvest the coconut together with some
laborers.

7. Question: What happen then to the said parcel of land?

Answer: Before my father in law died the said portion of

parcel of land which is the land in question
were already sold to Romeo Jalosjos.

8. Question: Since it was sold to Romeo Jalosjos what

happen then to the said parcel of land?

Answer: It was left under the custody of my wife because sir

Romeo Jalosjos appointed her as
caretaker of the land.

9. Question: Did your wife able to harvest coconut in the

said parcel of land acquired by Romeo
Jalosjos?

Answer: Yes sir.

10. Question: Did she hire laborers to do the same?

Answer: Yes sir.

11. Question: Naka ila ba ka ani ni Ma. Rosaline L. Witter?

Do you personally known complainant?

Answer: Yes sir, because she bought a land from Eustaquia

in Carang, Dapitan City.

12. Question: Do you have anything more to add?

Answer: None so far.
