Application and Tools for Teaching and Learning

I-LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:

- Discuss the 5 categories of instructional software
- Evaluate the importance of the 5 categories of instructional software in
teaching learning process.
- Perform how each categories of instructional software can help the
teaching learning process.

Materials- laptop, projector, Manila paper, construction paper,

III- PROCEDURE
A. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES

1. Prayer
2. Energizer
3. Greetings
4. Checking of Attendance
5. Review of the Previous Lesson
6. Motivation

B. LESSON PROPER:

- PRESENTATION OF THE LEARNING OBJECTIVES

ACTIVITY:
First Activity: (Station Rotation)
- The class will be divided into 5 groups.
- Each group will go to their assigned group number with the topic posted
in every corner in the classroom.
- There are 5 station posted, their task is to read their assigned topic and
every 3 minutes, each group will rotate and proceed to the next station
and the same process will continue until they are already read all topics
in each station.
- After the rotation, the teacher will randomly pick 2 members in each
group and the teacher will be the one to pick their topic and discuss it in
front.

ABSTRACTION
(Interactive Discussion)
Essential Question:
1. What have you learned about the topic?
2. What is the importance of knowing the 5 categories of
instructional software?
3. How can instructional software help you as a student?

APPLICATION
- The same group (5 groups)
- Each group will perform their assigned topic about how this instructional
software can help the teaching learning process through; (Drama or Jingle)
- Each group will only be given 10 minutes to prepare and practice
- Before performing, the teacher will first present the criteria for judging.
- When all members are already done, they will present it in front.

ASSESSMENT (Short quiz)

Direction: In a ¼ sheet of paper answer the following questions honestly. You have 5 minutes
to answer.

1-5, Explain briefly all 5 categories of instructional software?

6-7 Give at least 2 advantages of Instructional Software?
8-10 How can instructional software help you as a student?
ASSIGNMENT:
Choose any kinds of Educational Games and make an essay why you choose that game, and
that will be pass on next meeting.
