Executive Director
Great private, independent schools have long
been based upon the Renaissance notion of a
broad and rich education which speaks to the
mind, body and spirit.
Our athletic tradition and our scholar-athletes
embody those ideals. Through fierce competition,
marked by a generous spirit of sportsmanship,
they have tested themselves as young men and
women of character, grit and perseverance.
We believe that the lessons and values that they
learn on the fields and on the courts are carried
with them into the rest of their lives. As they have
made us proud as Bears while students, they
continue to represent the best of ASF as alumni.

The American School Foundation of Mexico City
has a rich tradition in academics, arts and athletics.
In September of 2017, we set out to create an
Athletics Wall of Fame to honor our top athletes
and coaches from years gone by.
From the beginning, the ASF Athletics Wall of
Fame became a project that demanded the time
and effort of many ASF stakeholders. From
donors to people volunteering their valuable
time and skills, over the past year we have
worked to complete the project that we
celebrate at the ASF Wall of Fame Induction
Ceremony on October 20, 2018.
Thank you to all stakeholders who have made
this event possible.

The ASF Athletics Wall of Fame will be a living-legacy
that alumni can show their families throughout the
years. This much needed recognition has a buzz
throughout our athletics community at ASF.
After serving as a coach and Head of Sport
(Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer), the past athletes
I mentored always bring this topic up to me.
The Athletics Wall of Fame will be a great tradition
that I am interested to see grow!

Over the past few years, I have been exposed to
many events at ASF. The school continues to
foster traditions for the community in which
there is a great display of generosity, pride and
team work.
The ASF Athletics Wall of Fame is a great example
of what ASF is able to produce when there is
collaboration and commitment. From beginning
to end, this event has been supported by many
hands and ideas that we hope serve as a model
for current and future generations of athletes of
what being a true Bear means, inside and
outside of the field.
