Project Update...

A/Z Corporation officially broke ground in April 2007, commencing construction of the 100,000 +/- square foot Building 10 Pharmaceutical Facility
Expansion ($46 Million) and Site Utility Relocation ($4 Million) at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals in Ridgefield, Connecticut. The Site Utility
Relocation phase is nearing completion. This relocation of the existing utility infrastructure is vital in support of the construction of the Building 10
Facility.

As of October 31, 2007, 5,800 yards of concrete has been poured to support the Building 10 structure, with the concrete contractor (Darlind
Construction, Inc.) working six days per week, 10 hours per day to complete the building superstructure on schedule. Throughout the course of
this intensive schedule, the Site Team has worked a total of 67,808 man hours without a safety incident.

“Building 10 has been divided in two phases, allowing the erection of half of Building 10 while the Site Utility Project is completed and the
existing utilities are removed from the building footprint. Our Project Team has managed this comprehensive site execution plan and has taken
a pro-active approach to mitigate any associated risks while remaining flexible and maintaining schedule milestones,” Steve Johnston, Senior
Project Manager

The new Center, dedicated on September 25, 2007, boasts a Barnes and Noble bookstore, a state-of-the-art theater, a 6,200 square foot ballroom
with a performance stage, an extended-hours evening café and snack bar, kitchen facilities, and a 5,000 square foot fitness center. “This expansion
and renovation project has given our Student Center a wonderful new look and feel,” noted ECSU’s President Elsa M. Nunez at the dedication, “and the
additional space allows us to bring together all student clubs and organizations under one roof. With the Center becoming the hub of campus life, we
can give students more opportunities for civic engagement and leadership, reinforcing the learning that occurs in the classroom.”*

To accommodate student clubs and organizations, the new facility has seven new meeting rooms, with the lower level housing the Student
Government Association, the Campus Activity Board, the Office of
Multicultural Programs and the Office of Women’s Programs.

The new Center incorporates the existing North/South

campus pedestrian pathway as an integral part of the facility
through an “indoor pedestrian concourse” that gathers people
together as they pass by various activities and retail services
located within the Center. “The Student Center is now the ‘heart’ of
the campus community and promotes the enhancement of student
life by creating a true University Center. The A/Z Team represented

unrise Square successfully opened in August 2007 to serve the growing Asian market, one of the fastest-growing
sectors in the gaming industry. Sunrise Square is located in the Autumn section of the Casino of the Earth
and features an expanded Bus Lobby, a Hong Kong Street Food Court, a Retail Outlet and a new Gaming Area
featuring authentic Asian games.

The Rockwell Group of New York designed the space to create and incorporate an authentic Asian flair and overall experience. The utilization of the
color red throughout the space and the incorporation of gold fish into the floor covering were essential to the atmosphere as both are considered lucky
in Asian culture.

The Asian gaming area offers 46 table games including: Sic Bo, Pai Gow Tiles and Baccarat, as well as new slot machines featuring Chinese characters.
“Our estimates show that Asian American patrons
represent over 20% of Mohegan Sun’s daily visitors and
that clientele has grown about 40% over the past two
years,” said a spokesperson for Mohegan Sun.

The Asian theme is distinctive throughout Sunrise

Square and is evident in the choices of Asian delicacies
in the Hong Kong Street food outlet featuring Sushi, Dim
Sum, Cantonese barbeque or Congee. The retail outlet
offers Asian-inspired gifts and items including ginseng
candies and nori rice crackers. To further accommodate
their clientele, Mohegan Sun offers nearly 50 buses per

A “NEW” Look...

A/Z Corporation was recently selected as Construction Manager for Foxwoods Phase 1 Renovation Project. “We are very excited to participate on this
most exciting project with Foxwoods and the Friedmutter Group. The initial renderings are impressive and the final look will astound Foxwoods’ patrons”
stated Donald Swanson, Project Executive Director. The following article was written by the Day Staff Writer Patricia Daddona.

When the new MGM Grand at Foxwoods opens in May, a breezeway connected to Foxwoods’ Grand Pequot Tower will help customers make a
“seamless” transition between the two properties. Likewise, Foxwoods Resort Casino is investing $55 million to blend new restaurants and shops at
the Grand Pequot casino with its new next-door neighbor, the Las-Vegas-styled MGM Grand. The renovations to Foxwoods are part of a $200 million
improvement plan that Foxwoods is gradually developing and unveiling with the help of architect and master planner the Friedmutter Group, based in Las
Vegas, New York City and Los Angeles. “The concepts and designs we’re introducing to Foxwoods Resort Casino will redefine the property, establishing
a new, higher level of service, hospitality, excitement and energy,” stated Brad Friedmutter, founder and chief executive officer of the Friedmutter Group.
“This project will serve as the barometer for what will be developed down the road throughout the resort.”

John O’Brien, president of both Foxwoods and MGM Grand at Foxwoods, said the renovations would build on 15 years of success and introduce
the “next generation” of offerings here, establishing “new standards in resort casinos.” The project’s centerpiece is the atrium, a contemporary, two-story
pedestrian space designed with natural materials that will display plasma screens broadcasting events and activities occurring throughout the property.
A new luxury retail corridor and 6,600-square-foot “ultra-hip” lounge will open when the project is completed. The high-end shops and boutiques will offer
designer watches, jewelry, apparel and celebrity memorabilia, using a frameless glass design. Award-winning Chef David Burke, who is best known for
his New York City restaurant, David Burke & Donatella, will establish David Burke Prime, a steakhouse, and Burke in the Box. The 13,000-square-foot
steakhouse will feature 280 seats. Burke in the Box, at 2,700 square feet, will be a 70-seat casual restaurant with gourmet food available for take-out or
eat-in. The breezeway extends over gardens and overlooks the woods, said Joe Jimenez, senior vice president of marketing, and it’s the public areas of
the Grand Pequot Tower “that we’re focusing on,” he said. “We want to keep the energy and style and aesthetics” of the two properties complementary,
he said, even though “there will be two great distinct experiences, MGM Grand at Foxwoods and Foxwoods. We’re all looking forward to ‘08 to get the
property opened.”

Partnering to
Fight Cancer...

Rendering Provided by Milford Regional Medical Center

In January 2008, Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center and Milford Regional Medical Center will open an integrated critical cancer
treatment facility to the community, with the hope of preventing and treating a disease that has touched nearly every person’s life at one time.

The new 54,000-square foot, two-floor Center is located adjacent to the main campus of the Milford
Regional Medical Center in Milford, Massachusetts. The Center will provide comprehensive cancer
services including medical oncology, radiation oncology, and diagnostic imaging services including: CT,
PET CT, MRI, X-Ray and laboratory testing.

A/Z’s Telecommunications Division is installing the new voice/data and nurse-patient communication
systems in the new $25 million Center. The voice/data/video and page structured cabling systems project
involves installation of a structured communications wiring infrastructure for voice, data, and video, which
requires connection of all voice and data to the TV system, Integrated Intercom/Public Address, and
wireless system. A page system with individually amplified volume controlled speakers and horns is also
being installed. The audiovisual nurse/patient communication project is comprised of LCD display nurse
consoles, annunciator panels, patient stations, LED dome lights, call cords, pull cord stations and a staff
assisted emergency push button station. The nurse/patient communication system will be interfaced
with the existing Milford Medical Center Rouland Nurses Call System Network and has the capacity for
expansion to provide unified services to the entire facility.

A/Z is proud to be providing Telecommunication Services for this vital facility as the importance of
voice/data communication is critical to providing world-class healthcare.

Energy
Independence
Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines,

space propulsion systems and industrial gas turbines. So it was no surprise when they

decided to pursue energy independence at their Middletown, Connecticut site.

A/Z’s Electrical Division recently provided electrical services in support of Pratt &

Whitney’s 15 kV feeder upgrade to accommodate the installation of a 7MW gas turbine

generator. As part of the project, the A/Z Team installed nearly 12,000 feet of 15kV cable

between the main incoming substation and the power house switchgear. According to

Jonathan Krueger, Project Manager, “Safely installing 1,000 feet of cable weighing

nearly 10,000 pounds each can be challenging, especially within an active business

environment. In addition to cable installation, we also completed the conduit cleaning and

control cabling installation.” A/Z was also contracted to support the Co-Generation Project

and installation of a 15kV feeder run from the turbine to the powerhouse switchgear and

includes installation, termination and testing services.

“We are extremely proud of our Team who safely executed these services. They

remained dedicated and focused throughout the project...”

Time To Market...
Each year BB&S Treated Lumber of New England receives nearly 1,000 rail cars and over

1,500 trailers of lumber for treatment. Since 1993, BB&S has been specializing in treated

lumber products, including southern pine lumber, decking, posts, timbers and landscape

ties.

BB&S recently contracted A/Z’s Mechanical Division to support the piping upgrade

at their Treatment Facility in the Quonset Industrial Park located in North Kingstown,

Rhode Island. At the facility, raw lumber is impregnated utilizing a vacuum pressurized

treatment process, resulting in long-lasting, low-maintenance lumber products that have

minimal environmental impact. To support this process, A/Z installed and updated the

MicroPro system. This system is utilized for mixing and storing associated elements utilized

in the lumber treatment process. The Mechanical Team completed the installation of all

associated piping, nozzles and vessels and performed all welding to support this system.

Through utilization of A/Z’s 3-D modeling and pipe detailing, the pre-fabrication of the

majority of the piping for this project was completed prior to being sent to the project site.

“We installed over 800 feet of piping and completed all associated welding for this fast-

track project. It was vital to the client’s production schedule that this project was executed

quickly to avoid any disruption or loss of production time. Our Team of welders and pipe

fitters did an outstanding job!” Toby Whitehead, Project Manager

Re-Powering for the
Future...
C.S.A. Services

The re-powering of the Alfred L. Pierce Generating Station in Wallingford, Connecticut began with a submission to the
Connecticut Siting Council in 2006 by the Connecticut Municipal Electric Energy Cooperative (CMEEC). The Alfred L.
Pierce Generating Station was originally commissioned as a 22.5MW coal fired power plant in 1953 and was subsequently
de-commissioned in July of 2000.

This Re-Powering program was essential to continue serving the capacity needs of the Wallingford Department of Public Utilities Electric Division
and five other municipal electric systems which purchase power through CMEEC. CMEEC, a non-profit, publicly directed joint action supply agency
formed by the State of Connecticut’s municipal electric utilities, is responsible for the financing, acquisition and construction of generating resources and
implementation of power supply contracts for the purpose of furnishing low-cost and reliable electric power to its members and participants.*

As part of the Alfred L. Pierce Re-Powering program, A/Z Corporation

was contracted to provide specialty construction services to Gemma Power
Systems LLC of Glastonbury, Connecticut who served as EPC Contractor for
the renovation of this complex, state-of-the-art energy facility.

A/Z’s CSA Division executed the site work, including restoration of a double
containment fuel oil piping installation. Additional improvements included
