Recycling Against Radiation 2

mentor approval forms. Finally, we have completed the wooden cast for molding our plastic
polyethylene sheets.
Recycling Against Radiation 4
We have already begun construction on our molding cast for the plastic sheets that we
will soon be making. In this construction process, we used materials such as wood, tape, and
gathered a large supply of plastic polyethylene grocery bags that we will later be melting into
radiation shields.
We also have added an X-ray to our list of acquired materials. We have gained access to
a small, safe X-ray machine. It’s intended use is for airport security screening, which means that
it is required to be safe to use near people. Our supervisor will be John French, who will be
