Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal). I need to
use checklist to assess my student in the centres while they are Woking.
I need to focus more in my questions when I ask the students .
1. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used). I will use different types of
questions and I will use checklist to assess the student when they are working in the centres and
observe them when they are working .

2. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence).). I will see the level of each child .

Circle time : Greeting the students and ask them about the weather and the day and the date . remind
them the rules of the classroom .
Time: 10min

Introduce short and tall word and showing them video about short and tall and what is the differences
between short and tall.
Whole

- Read story about short and tall , ask them questions about the story.

T : I will give each child in the group papers and colors .

S: They will draw and colour tall and short things.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1). High level

T: I will give each child pic of tall and short and scissors and glue.

S : Students will cut the tall and short pic and they will stick it on the board according to word tall
and short.

Independent Experience(small group activity 2) medium level

T : I will give all the children in the group two basket with different kind of animals .

S: students will sort the tall and the short animals and they will put it in the basket according to
the word that stick it in the basket.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3) law level

T : I will let each child to draw with their fingers tall and short objects by using the foam.
Time: 15 min

S: students will draw tall and short objects .


Small
15 min Gather the children again on the carpet and ask them what did they learn today?

Small activity to assess the students . I will ask them what did the lesson was about .
Closing

Time:

I will bring two children one is tall and one is short and I will ask the other children who is tall and who
is short .

Assessment

Ask them questions , observe them when they are working and small activity .
