As a Teacher

My role as a teacher, is to understand students’ skills and try to scaffold them as they are leaning
in different ways. I want to be flexible with them to be able to manage their behavior. I enjoy
having fun conversations with my students, but sometimes I must be strict, so they will not
misbehave and be less active while I am teaching them. I want my students to behave well and
have more fun while learning. We can all have fun and learn at the same time. This is one of the
reasons why I focused on using a variety of teaching strategies for my students to have my
lessons go smoothly without any disturbance.

What is Education

I think Education is the wise, hopeful and respectful cultivation of learning undertaken in the
belief that all should have the chance to share in life. By sharing it, it means to teach and to learn
at the same time (Smith, 2015). Moreover, I strongly believe that it is a very important step for
each person, because it helps to discover skills, abilities and to build and improve their creative
thinking, and it opens lots of opportunities for learning and achieve goals. In my teaching
philosophy, I will discuss two three beliefs which are learning environment and classroom
management.

Learning Environment

School is a suitable environment that is provided for learners to get educated. As I have observed
at schools many times, from what I have experienced, I really think that if the environment was
comfortable for the students they will concentrate and focus more in the lesson. Now in 2018, we
got more knowledgeable than before, and with getting the technology in our teaching style for
the students, it got easier to teach and easier for the students to learn.

The development of technology enabled more interactive, flexible, and student-centered learning
environments in the class, and it considered as a smart classroom. The term of “smart classroom”
refers to a physical classroom that increase the teachers' ability to enable students' learning and
the students' ability to participate during the class (Heller, Nussbaum, & Tsai, 2018).
Classroom Management

Methods “strategies” is a flexible technique "statement" of the way of subjects are developed
more effectively, and it makes the instructions and learning formal in a constrained way for
success. In school, using method during the class is a way to control and take the students
attention to concentrate, and it is a good way to teach both manners and subjects. Moreover,
when the teacher use teaching methods it makes huge different in the learning outcome, for
example using questioning techniques like how, why and what, these three questions develop
critical thinking skills for students, because it helps to get deeper answers from the students.

Education and social progress together aims to achieve a better understanding of education and
skills that drive individual well-being and societal progress. Furthermore, education is the
fundamental method of social progress and reform (Dewey, 1897).

Conclusion

In my teaching philosophy, I have discussed two beliefs. First belief is learning environment is
very important for students because it gives them the comfortable feeling when they are learning,
and using technology is much comfortable than old class without smartboard and so on, because
children will learn better. The second belief is classroom management, it is very important thing
about the classroom, because it is the basic of each classroom to ensure that the class is going
smoothly with the teacher during here lessons, to make sure students are following her and being
focused in their task to learn better.
