Helps young people by providing a wide range of counseling services to address issues such as

Mid-Ohio Psychological Services (MOPS)


Program: Provides a broad range of mental health services to children, adolescents and
families. Individual, group and family therapy is offered and also their Therapeutic Mentor
Program; which helps to enhance skills learned in therapy. Other services address adjustments
disorders, grief and loss, disruptive behaviors and mood disorders. They also specialize in
blended families, sexual abuse, domestic violence, anger management and ADHD.

St. Vincent Family Center Therapeutic Programs


All these programs work with children who have behavior, emotional and/or social challenges.
Their staff works closely with parents/caregivers to identify child and family strengths.
Therapeutic Preschool Program: Work with children ages 3 to 6.
Therapeutic School Age Program: The goal of the program is for children, once returned to a
regular school setting, to successfully maintain their behavior and academic performance.
Therapeutic After School Program: Services youth from 5-1/2 to 12 year of age. It is group-
based; designed to prevent out-of-home placement or to aid in the transition from a more to
less restrictive setting.

Wellspring & Central Ohio Youth for Christ (COYFC)


This Christian-based organization offers low-cost counseling at many locations throughout
Columbus. Their student interns see clients at very reduced rates (sometimes as low as $5,
depending on financial need), as part of their training in their master's program, under the
supervision of licensed counselors. They also have licensed counselors who see kids with
anxiety issues, behavior problems, depression, ADHD, stress, anger issues and more.
