Looking at Learning
Welcome to a new school year! As we get
ready to begin our studies let me introduce
myself and tell you a little about what your
student(s) will be learning this year. My
name is Mrs. Coker and I have been at
McDonald Elementary for over six years
now. I have taught for over eleven years and
in that time have been in a first, second and
third grade classroom as well as taught pub-
lic speaking and drama to middle schoolers.
I have two dogs and a supportive husband;
all three of which I bring up in my teaching
so don’t be alarmed if your student(s) come
home talking about Mr. Rob or bad Bradley
and Brody were today!
Technology Corner
In an effort to help prepare your
student for the future ahead of
them, we use technology a lot in
our classroom in the forms of tab-
lets, computers, the Promethean
board, and all the extra features
that comes with these. If you are able to,
please send in earbuds for your student to
use. We will put these in a labeled holder for
your student so no germs will spread.
