About:

GOAL

The College of Education at NwSSU aims to develop a highly qualified education professionals and
leaders

imbued with Filipino aspirations, ideals, attitudes and values

for local responsiveness and global competitiveness.

OBJECTIVES:

The College of Education offers programs designed to:

 Produce competent and professional teachers and education managers endowed with
pedagogical skills and content.
 Develop among graduates the Filipino aspirations, ideals, attitudes and the values of honesty,
respect, and punctuality.
 Provide graduates with the capability to discover, verify and expand the frontiers of knowledge
on instructional innovations and teaching through research activities as inputs to policy
formulation and continuous improvement of instructional practices.
 Participate in government efforts in uplifting the quality of community life through sustainable
extension activities.
 Turn out highly qualified graduates who are passionate in teaching and in managing schools.
