Learning
Majority of assessment with fine arts is
observation. Students will be observed for

progression during all rehearsals, and notes
will be made on individuals daily.
For outcomes that cannot be observed, such
as knowledge on caring for the instrument or
Questioning X X
character interpretation, students will be
posed questions to check for understanding.
This formative assessment is used as a check
to see how memorization is coming. Unlike
Off-Book X X
choir, it is expected that music is 100%
memorized come show time.
Students will be broken into small ensembles
of two voices per part. They will be tested on
more difficult areas of chorus parts.
Singing Test X
Assessment will look for accuracy of rhythm
and melody, phrasing, expression, and
characterization.
