COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Aug 2017 Pacific ANGEL Humanitarian Mission


In conjunction with experts from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, and Nepal, I volunteered as a medical technician to
provide humanitarian health aid in Gorkha, Nepal. I partnered with the Nepali Red Cross workers to communicate
to the medical providers what the patient concerns and cultural barriers may be.

Jan 2016 - Frontline Professional Developement Vice President


Jan 2017 I was responsible for facilitating training for 112 military members. These training sessions focused on career
progression, community involvement, and creating connections between upper management and the newest
employees.

Aug 2016 Asia Pacific Military Health Exchange


At a military health conference with 26 nations in attendance and more than 500 participants, I presented a lecture
on the capabilities of my organization's ability to respond to public health emergencies and wartime disasters in
the Pacific.

Jun 2017 As the tourism ambassador to Misawa, Japan, I partnered with the tourism association to advertise community
events, small businesses, and worked to strengthen the bond between the American military stationed in Japan
and the local community through public speaking and television interviews.
