How Photosynthesis Happen?

The photosynthesis process mainly occurs in plants, algae, and certain types of bacteria. This
process produces several carbon compounds that store chemical energy used for cell
development.

The photosynthesis process can be described in the following steps:

1. Carbon dioxide in the air enters the leaves of plants through stomata.
1. Water enters the leaves, especially through plant roots. Water enters the roots of plants and
then the water is distributed to the leaves through the stem.
2. When sunlight falls on the leaf surface, chlorophyll captures the energy from the light.
Chlorophyll is a green pigment found in plant leaves.
3. Energy is used to convert water into hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen is combined with
carbon dioxide to produce food for these plants, while oxygen is released by plants through
stomata.
