O R D E R:

In the reference read above, the Commissioner of Technical Education, A.P.,

Hyderabad has furnished detailed proposals for starting two new Government
Polytechnic Colleges, one at Jogipet of Medak District with (2) Diploma Courses i.e.
DME and DEEE with an intake of (60) in each course and another at Atmakur of SPSR
Nellore District with (3) Diploma Courses i.e. DME, DAE and DECE with an intake of
(60) in each course which have market demand. The Commissioner of Technical
Education has furnished the financial implications of two colleges for Rs.206.48 Lakhs
for 1st year component and total financial implications of Rs.1601.31 Lakhs. The
Commissioner of Technical Education has requested the Government to examine the
proposal and issue necessary orders in the matter.

2. After careful examination of the proposal of the Commissioner of Technical

Education, A.P., Hyderabad, Government hereby accord Administrative Sanction to
start two new Government Polytechnic Colleges one at Jogipet of Medak District and
another at Atmakur of SPSR, Nellore District during the Academic Year 2011-12 as
detailed below:-

3. Separate orders will be issued regarding sanction of staff for the Polytechnic

4. The Commissioner of Technical Education, A.P., Hyderabad shall take

necessary action in the matter accordingly.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Exp.HE) Department vide
their U.O.No.1323/219/Exp.H E/2011, Dt.30-03-2011.
