Letter L Lesson Reflection:

Today I taught English lesson about letter L. it’s was fabulous because I heard
positive feedback from my MST and I saw my children were soo engageable and
enjoyable to do the activities and I really enjoy teaching the lesson.

I felt everything worked as planned, I felt that I stimulated thinking and imagination
in children by present storytelling in an interesting way by used faceless doll, I support
imagination skill when I act like duck talk with children and I promoted their thinking
when I asked them what call this? Stat as Waldorf Schooling methods considered that
“Imagination is at the heart of learning”. (Spielgaben, 2013) Moreover, I give children
the freedom to choose the activity they want to implement. For example, when I give
each center activity Zafer was crying because he wants to do clay activity hence I
allowed him and take him to the center he wanted it, I believe that all teachers should
give children opportunity to choose what active they want to do because as we know
every child has unique individual style to learn. Link to Dewey he believes that
“Education should be democratic”. (Spielgaben, 2013) Addition, I realized that I was
excellent with chosen the activity because it based to develop children senses such as
touching, seeing, hearing, moving, speaking and listening. For instance, in identity
pictures start with letter L active children were able to learn through their seeing sense
when they saw the pictures, moving sense when they move their hands, arms, fingers
when they hold the pictures and stick it. According to Reggio Schooling, it's believed that
“Children learn best through a multi-sensory approach” (Spielgaben, 2013)

However, there is area I may do it better next time, which include avoiding language
error because my MST said I said Do you enjoy? Instead of Did you enjoy? So, I will try
my best to improve my language because children pick up the language quite quickly.
Also, show the children right direction of the letter because my MST said that there are
some children wrote letter L from down to up instead to start it from up to down so, she
recommends me to make sour that I show the children right direction.
