2) A machine with mass M=100 kg is supported by four springs, each of stiffness


k = 400 N/cm. It has an unbalance mass of 0.2 kg at a radius of 1 cm. For free
damped vibration the amplitude after 5 cycles is equal 0.03 of the amplitude
of the first cycle. Determine the amplitude and phase shift of the steady state
forced vibration of the machine:
a) at speed 2000 rpm. b) at resonance.
