ENGAGE: Students will listen to a conversation between two robots. They will be required to
answer the following questions based on the conversation:
What is plagiarism?
Could anything bad happen to you if you copied someone else’s idea or words and didn’t
give them credit? (Bad grade, kicked out of college, lose your credibility, pay a fine, go
to jail).
How would you feel if someone stole your idea and didn’t give you credit – what do you
think should happen to them if they do?
EXPLORE: The following questions will be written on strips of paper. Three volunteers will be
asked to select a strip and asked to answer the question on the paper. If they are not sure of the
answer they will be asked to seek help from their classmates.

3. How do you write the end of text citation for a book?
