Overall aim and context of the lesson

 The aim of the lesson is to let the students Identify the different stages that the frog goes through in life and
compare the life cycles of different kinds of animals.

Choose two aspects from the competency areas to evaluate and discuss (one paragraph each) according
to following:

1. discuss one aspect that you feel you did very well. Try to analyze why you think it worked well
and what hints you would share with other teachers about the successful strategy/
resource/activity/management style etc.

Positive aspect of the lesson:

I explained the lesson by using the PowerPoint and I was reading and explaining the points out loud I also showed
the students a video about the life cycle of the frog were so excited and happy about the lesson. I explained the
important parts in the video and the communication between me and the students was very good.

There are some hints which I think it will be useful to be shared to the other teachers. I think teachers should have a
strong communication with their students and they should act more when they explained the lesson to the students. It
will help to get the full attention of the students. In addition, I discussed with the teacher about the transition from
explaining the lesson on the bored and PowerPoint and the video with the students in the carpet and then going to
their groups to do their activity.

was, why it occurred and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the next lesson.
Requires Attention:

There were no problems when I explained the lesson, and everything went well.

3. outline the personal focus and goal of the next lesson.

Personal focus for the next lesson: I will try to be more confident and less stressed and to manage the class better.
