Xerox Products’ Compatibility with Windows® 7

Xerox offers a wide variety of print drivers for the newest operating system
from Microsoft – Windows 7. The following table lists various Xerox Additional Resources
products and information regarding Windows 7 driver compatibility and Windows® 7
availability. The table refers to a compatibility level for each product; a > view details about Windows 7
description of the compatibility levels is provided at the end of this Microsoft® Answers
document. This table will be updated periodically as Xerox releases new > connect with Microsoft's Answers

Print Administration in Windows® 7
The folder known as “Printers and Faxes” in older versions of the Windows operating system is now part of
the “Devices and Printers” console in Windows 7. In addition, some of the administrative functions that
could be found in the “Printers and Faxes” folder can now be found in the Print Management Console. Be
sure to review the latest documentation from Microsoft to learn about print administration changes in
Windows 7.

Scan Driver Compatibility with Windows® 7

The current Windows Vista scan drivers for your product are compatible for use with Windows 7. Please
note that Windows 7 introduces a new method for accessing the Scanner and Camera Installation Wizard.
The Scanner and Camera Installation Wizard is used in cases when the scan driver installer or automatic
detection of the device and installation of the drivers is not an option. To open the Scanner and Camera
Installation Wizard, click the Start button, then click the Control Panel and search for “scanners and
cameras”. Click on the “View scanners and cameras” link from the list of search results. For more
information, please refer to the Microsoft Knowledgebase article that provides detailed
instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Working-with-the-Scanner-and-Camera-
Installation-wizard.
