ABSTRAK
Spa kaki diabetes merupakan terapi untuk pasien diabetes mellitus secara menyeluruh mulai
dari senam kaki,pembersihan (skin cleansing), foot mask, dan foot massage. Terapi ini dapat
meningkatkan aliran darah perifer pada lansia yang mengalami DM tipe II. Tujuan penelitian
ini untuk melihat pengaruh spa diabetik terhadap aliran darah perifer pada lansia DM tipe II.
Desain Penelitian Quasi Experiment dengan uji T independent menggunakan purposive
samplin sebanyak 28 responden dengan 14 kelompok intervensi dan 14 kelompok kontrol.
Terdapat pengaruh spa diabetik terhadap aliran darah perifer pada lansia DM (p value= 0,000
dan CI 95%). Pemberian spa diabetik secara rutin mampu memberikan efek terhadap aliran
darah perifer yang dapat diukur menggunakan nilai Ankle Brachial Index (ABI)

ABSTRACT
Spa foot of diabetes is a therapy for patients with diabetes mellitus thoroughly ranging from
foot exercises, cleansing (skin cleansing), foot mask, and foot massage. This therapy can
increase peripheral blood flow in elderly people with type II diabetes. The purpose of this
study was to look at the influence of diabetic spa on peripheral blood flow in elderly DM type
II. Quasi Experiment Research design with independent T test using purposive samplin of 28
respondents with 14 intervention groups and 14 control groups. There was an influence of
diabetic spa on peripheral blood flow in elderly DM (p value = 0.000 and 95% CI).
Administration of regular diabetic spa can have an effect on peripheral blood flow that can be
measured using Ankle Brachial Index (ABI).
