We are pleased to inform you that all is set for the conduct of our international conference-workshop
entitled Conference-Workhop for Teache6, AdministEto6 and Edu.ation Studentsr "Promoting Lifelont
Learnlng In ASEAN Educatioml lncthulloB' which will now be held from November 23-25,2018, Crown
Legacy Hotel, Kisad Road, Baguio City, Philippines. lt was originally announced to be held july 19-21, 2018 in
University of the Philippines, Diliman but due to unavoidable ckcumstances, we had to postpone the event
to a later date.
This 3-day conference.workshop will be graced and keynoted by Baohui Zhang Ph.D. from the
Graduate School of Education, Shaanxi Normal University, China. Other plenary speakers who
confirmed their participation from TESDA Deputy Director General for Policies and Plannin& Dir.
Rossana A. Urdaneta, Dir. lgnaas Demyttenaere, lnstitute of lnclusive Education, Dr. .lose V.
Camacho, Dean of Graduate School, University of the Philippines, Los Baios, Director of
lnternational Relation office of university of Muhammadiyah Parepare, lndonesia and Professors
from University of the Philippines, Diliman. On the other hand, other plenary speakers who will be
discussing the different facets of the "Promoting Lifelong Learning in ASEAN Educational
lnstitutions" are education experts from the international/AsEAN Educational lnstitutions and
experts from Philippine premier universities, colleges and organizations who are known for their
significant contributions to the development of excellent learners in the country.
Aside from the DepEd CALABARZON, and Pangasinan State University who has already released their own
advisory and endorsement both private and public schools within their jurisdidions, also fusociation of
Muslim Community in ASEAN (AMCA) who is committed more or less 50 persons to attend and participate in
the upcoming international conference-workshop. Together with the other participants from the other
regions aswell as from Philippines Schools Abroad, we are anticipating another wellattended event.
Mid this year, we send you a letter requesting to i$uc memorandums, in this ,etajds, can we erped you
ataln to send us the m€moGndum/endors€fiem to allow the teachers, principal, coordinato/supervisors
and non-teaching personnelto: {a} participate in this event on official time and (b) charge the conterence
fee, travel expenses and other incidental expenses to their school's/unit's MOOE, and Special Education
Fund (SEF). In this regard, GFF board decided to give you a discount of Php 6,800.00 instead of Php 7,800 00
entitles the participants entrance to and participation in allthe plenary and workshop sessions, conference
kit, certificatet accommodation and mealsforthe 3-day conference or depend in their preference
