Introduction
Consultants are paid for sharing their expertise and knowledge to help organizations attain their
goals and solve complex practical problems. Organizations often hire consultant to fulfill the
need of expert advice and save cost of hiring full time employee. Consultant brings the fresh
perspective to the organization in which they provide advisory service. Because consultant isn’t
connected to any corporate culture, they can act as catalyst for change. Consultant need to
have vast domain knowledge and experience in a particular field. In addition they need to have
good track record of past accomplishments. Person with higher level of education and
experience will receive higher salary for their services. Consulting is actually very broad area of
service, and from businesses to personal consulting, there is a consulting opportunity practically
in every organization.
The job duties of consultant can vary depending on the industry in which a consultant is
servicing and based on specific experience in that field. Improving a client’s business is the
broadest duty for which consultants are hired.consultants sometimes asked to enhance the skill
sets of employees in the organization about particular field area. They are supposed to give
suggestions which when implemented, increases productivity and revenues. They are expected
to provide advice, and solve problems. Consultants are often used before engaging in any start
up business or to seek advice on failing business. The time period for consultancy can vary in
length depending upon the needs of the organization.
Successful consultants are those who having their skill set from a combination of experience,
higher education , and innate personality traits. These are following skills:

Business and management consulting in india has breached Rs.73,800 crores in revenues in
2017 and is forecasted to register continuous growth over the next few years. The growth is
consistent with a trend over the last few years which has seen the Indian management
consulting sector having registered an average growth rate of 6.75% since 2013. The consulting
market in India seems poised and well-equipped for further growth and expansion in years to
come.

Job Description
● To Perform domestic and global post deal HR integrations with respect to mergers and
acquisitions for client companies
● Work with KPMG cross functional teams on the HR platform for providing service of
establishment and merging of compensation and benefits platforms.
● Assist in Engagement process. You are required to work on setting scopes, budget,
staffing needs, creation and coordination of client-ready delivery solutions with KPMG
integration and separation teams. You also need to assist with communication of results
with the client.
