Essay Internship for PWC

My name is Josua Pranata from President University. I am a person who has a hard-
working soul in working on a field. I am also diligent and have high motivation in working. That
happens because I have motivation in my life to be better. I am a nomad from one village in
North Sumatra. I’m sure that with my motivation that I brought from there, I can change my life
as an accountant by working hard, diligently, and never giving up.

I am easy to get along with the new environment. I am a person who has high
responsibility. I am also one of the students on my campus who are active in organizations. This
can be seen from every organization position or event entrusted to me as a project manager in
PUAD Action from Accounting, PIC, and member in the event that I stated in my CV. This
certainly adds my knowledge in working in the team which of course will be applied in working
as an auditor because auditor works in a team.

I also can work on teams that can be arranged and can also manage, depending on the
situation that I get. I can work under pressure which of course I will face in the real world of
work. I have participated in accounting competitions at the university president and at that time I
was in the top 10

I have learned account starting from Principles of accounting, intermediate accounting,

cost accounting, managerial accounting etc. As an Accounting student, of course, I have to be
ready to apply what I learned in the campus in the real world of work. By having the knowledge
I mentioned above, I feel that all of that become my skills in the real world of accounting.

I also can operate the computer well, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power-
point. I have attended Microsoft Excel as an Accounting training held by the president
university. Of course, this also supports me to become an accountant in this modern era, because
almost all jobs including auditor are done by using a computer.

I am a 7th semester student from the 10th semester. I hope that in the next 5 years I have
had a good career as an auditor. I hope that at this time I can get an internship at the PWC as a
junior auditor and then be able to continue my career there for a long-term contract. I also hope
that I can become a manager in the audit position in future.

As a candidate for auditor, I hope that someday I can work in an Accounting firm that is
PWC that of course it will be a pride for me. This is what I want to achieve in the next 5 years.
Because working in your company is a very valuable asset for me to continue my career life.

I have several reasons for the internship at the PWC. The first is that this company is a
large accounting company, where certainly the quality of the company starts from employees,
internal controls, regulations, people who work in there and the results of the services offered to
consumers are very good in quality. So that it becomes a challenge and responsibility for my-self
to be better.

The second reason is that I believe and trust that the PWC can build skills and build my
accounting knowledge. I also know that the PWC is a very good company in accounting that is in
the top four in the world so that I am proud of being able to receive internships at international
accounting companies such as the PWC.

In conclusion, I am an accounting student who has been studying accounting on campus.

Besides accounting, I can also operate the computer well. So in this sophisticated era, I can do
accounting work using a computer by using accounting software. I am a hardworking person,
never give up, persistent, I am also a person who can work under pressure. I have participated in
several organizations and events on campus with several positions. So that later I can work with
groups which of course the auditor works in a team.
