Activity 1

ESSAY: What can you suggest to improve the performance of our

present government?

CHANGE FOR THE BETTER

If I had the chance to talk our Honorable President Rodrigo Duterte, I would suggest to him some
of my thoughts that maybe help him out to improve the performance of our present government. The
first thing to do is you need to start in the lower bracket of our society which is our community in
Barangay level area. We need to focus to this families that really need government assistance with
projects such as Health Awareness Program, Feeding Program, Educational Program and especially the
Livelihood Projects. We need to help them because they are one of the main problem of our society.
There are "Cause and Effect" if we neglected this kind of dilemma even if they do not know that they are
the one who's dragging us down. And whether they like it or not, our country had bad image to those
countries that well- organized.

Next, is about the environmental contamination, we all know that our Mother Earth is currently
facing some environmental concerns such as global warming, air and water pollution. We need to be
disciplined to our actions especially if the future generation will the who suffer from this. We need to
oblige everyone to plant trees or have plants in every households so that we will have more oxygen in
the air, during heavy rains the trees helps the risk of flooding.

And then, we should help our PNP to reduce crimes in our country, every street should have active
CCTV that Barangay Officials will monitor it 24/7. The Barangay Tanods will have every hour rotation in
their Barangay so that the bad guys will not trigger to do unpleasant things in the area.

Lastly, the number one main cause of poverty in our society is lack of Jobs or opportunities to do
work and they do not have Source of Income. Our government needs to talk other country to invest in
the Philippines and also the Entrepreneurs to expand their businesses so that we will have more jobs to
offer to the Filipinos that doesn't have work.

You can't change what's going on around you, until you start changing what's going on within you
