I. INTRODUCTION
Payload is the carrying capacity, usually measured in terms of weight. The
payload of this condition means cargo, provisions, and other equipment. Extra
fuel, when optionally carried, is also considered part of the payload. Payload
for this case may refer to revenue-generating cargo because it is containing
some oil, bulk, container, cargo, passenger or else.
According to the Payload, we might have tank for placement. The function of
the tank is to put the cargo and other provisions in the ship. Also, ballast water
tank, cofferdam,sloop tank, FO tank is needed, considering each calculation.

II. OBJECTIVES
The things that we must understand about Ships Crew are:
1. Determining the Total Weight of The Ships.
2. Determining the Ballast Water.
3. Determining the LWT, DWT & Payload.
4. Determining the Cargo Volume and Other Tanks.

VIII. DETAIL OF CALCULATION

1. Calculation of the Weight of Fresh Water
A = (20 . Total Crew . S(km)) / / 24 . Vs (km/h)
= 2.7428 Ton
B = (200 . Total Crew . S(km)) / / 24 . Vs (km/h)
= 27.428 Ton
C = P . 4 . (S/Vs) . 10-6
= 0.05174
Wfw = A + B + C
= 30.21 ton
2. Calculation of the Total of Weight
Wp = (5 . Total Crew . S(km)) / 24 . Vs (km/h)
= 0.6855 Ton
Wcw = (Crew + Bawaan) . Total Crew
= 1.9 Ton
Wres= 1.5% . Vdisp
= 68.372 Ton
WT = WFO + WFB + WLO + WFW + WP + WCP + WR
= 148.55 Ton
3. Calculation of the LWT, DWT and Payload
E = Lpp(B+T)+ 0.85 Lpp(H-T)+0.85{(L1.h1)+0.75(L2.h2)}
= 1822.9867 m2
WST = K x E1.36
= 952.212 Ton
WOC = 0.4 x Lpp x B
= 485.853 Ton
WMT = 0.72 x MCR0.78
= 122.4 Ton
WRES = 3% (Wst+WOA+Wmt)
= 46.814 Ton
LWT = Wst + WOA + Wmt + Wres
= 1607.28 Ton
DWT = Displacement - LWT
= 3064.8 Ton
Payload = DWT - WT

= 2916.26 Ton

4. Calculation of Ballast Water

Wballast = 104% x (20% x Δ)
= 971.795 Ton

5. Calculation of the Cargo Volume, and Tank Capacity

Cargo Volume = Payload / Density
= 3430.89 m3
Sloop Tank = 3% x Cargo Volume
= 102.93 m3
Sludge Tank = K1 x C x D
= 8.55 m3
