Caught on camera: Amazing moment a woman gives birth on

Taiwan to Los Angeles flight

A China Airlines flight landed in Alaska with an extra passenger after an expectant
mother gave birth to a baby girl more than eight weeks early.

The Taiwan to Los Angeles flight was forced to make an emergency landing on
Thursday after a Taiwanese passenger's waters broke six hours into the 19 hour
journey.

However 30 minutes before landing, the woman gave birth to the child - and received
a round of applause from fellow passengers following the first cry.

After going into labour, the pilot informed the airline company and requested
permission to land at Ted Stevens Anchorage Airport in Alaska out of consideration
for the safety of the woman and her baby.

In a video shot by a woman on the flight, air stewards can be seen holding the baby,
wiping her with tissues and wrapping her, and her mother, in large blankets.

Speaking to a woman, the passenger recording says: 'This is a once in a lifetime

thing. These tourists will never experience this again.'

After landing in Alaska, the woman, who was flying alone, and baby were taken to a
local hospital, where both of them were reported to be in good condition.

The plane refuelled following the landing and arrived in Los Angeles three hours late.

According to the China Post, the Civil Aeronautics Administration have confirmed
that the baby's nationality will depend upon the birth certificate issued by the
Anchorage hospital as she was born in U.S. airspace aboard a Republic of China
carrier.

hari Kamis setelah sebuah perairan penumpang Taiwan pecah enam jam memasuki
perjalanan 19 jam.

usia 18 tahun.
