TEACHER HIGHLIGHT . . . Jackie Stokes is
second year of teaching at Ayden
‘The younger daughter of Mr.
Kes, she is a life-long resident of
Mle And graduate of its schools. She received
red Science and Master’s degrees in
Elementary Education at East Carolina
University. She began her career in education as
@ teacher's aide, then moved into teaching
positions in second and first grades, all in Ayden.
‘Miss Stokes is an active member of Ayden United
‘Methodist Church, and Sunday School teacher for
the third/fourth grade class. In her leisure time
she enjoys reading, outdoor sports, movies and
