‘Teacher Of The Year
One of the world’s oldest professions is teaching and the
greatest teacher ofall time was Jesus Christ. There have been
many good and bad teachers since. I don't know of any
‘profession (Worldwide) that has had a greater influence (good
‘and bad) on the people ofthe world than its teachers.
‘For a person to be chosen Teacher of the Year by a peer
group puls & person in select company. No honoris greater
because they know who Is the best among their own. Parents
‘who are influenced by personality, youth and many other
things cannot be sure their judgement is correc. But, 2 group
of teachers, you can be sure, know who is what and who does
‘what among their own group. They would not embarrass
themselves by selecting one of their group to such an honor
‘without Delng sure oftheir selection.
‘The teachers of Ayden Elementary School this year selected
as their ehoiee for honor among their group—Prances Gold a
‘th grade teacher as “Teacher ofthe Year".
Mrs. Gold is 2 teacher who believes in the basics of
and
slay until 5 o'clock in the afternoon to make sure she has
covered all bases and can keep up with each child's progress.
‘This woman's life consists mainly of preparing herself to teach
your children—a job she puts her heart and soul into doing.
‘And, her peer group respects her for this. We thank God for
such teachers,
