TITLE: Standard Operating Procedure for T60 UV-VISIBLE

Spectrophotometer

 Open panel door and make sure cuvette holders are empty,
then close the panel door.
 Turn spectrophotometer “ON” by flipping the switch on the
side of the machine.
 The machine will automatically initialize and make a base line
correction.
 Select PHOTOMETRIC MODE, then press ENTER to gain
acess to the photometric mode.
 Press START to gain acess to measurement menu.
 Press GO TO LAMDA, then input the working wave length
and press ENTER to confirm.
 Press SET to gain acess to the parameters setting page, then
press down key and move the cursor to the “cell setting”,then
press ENTER key to confirm.
 Press return key twice to return to photometric menu. Put the
blank in to the cell No.1,and put the sample in to No.2
cell,then press ZERO and then press START to begin
measurement.
 After measurement press PRINT to print the results.
 Make sure to take out the cell from the cell compartment.
 Press RETURN to return to the instrument main menu and
turn OFF the power.
