AC-CURE-R (MS)
Ready to use resin based aluminized reflective
solvent based curing agent for concrete.
Description
Curing plays vital role in rendering strength & ensuring
durability to concrete. It prevents evaporation of capillary
water in concrete so that sufficient water is available for
full hydration of cement present in concrete.
It is a well-known fact that heat of hydration generates
during chemical reaction which leaves shrinkage cracks &
affects strength & durability of concrete if not dissipated
properly by way of curing. The ideal curing technique
should commence soon after casting of concrete, thereby
avoiding surface drying & plastic shrinkage of concrete.
The old conventionally practiced methods of curing like
ponding, spraying water, covering concrete surface with
wet jute bags are not only time consuming but are
comparatively un-economical because of labour
dependency & management of equipments for the
purpose.
It is solvent based aluminized reflective curing agent.
It is recommended for PQC and concrete floorings.
AC-CURE-R(MS) conforms best with
specifications and it forms aluminized reflective
impervious film. This compound forms a membrane in the
form of film within 60 minutes after application on
concrete & mortar surfaces and disallows evaporation of
water.
AC-CURE-R(MS) film does not disintegrate , crack or peel
off for about 2 to 3 days after application. This continuous
film can stretch due to resin properties.
AC-CURE-R(MS) is suitable where the temperatures are
extreme & surfaces are directly exposed to sunlight. It
has property of metallic reflection due to content of very
fine flakes of aluminium dispersed uniformly and also
helps the quality controllers at job site to ensure that full
area is covered due to its white metallic colour.
Curing efficiency calculated as per B.S.7542 is more than
90%. However test should be carried out at site for large
scale use.
Use
AC-CURE-R(MS) is curing agent for any type of structure. It
is most suitable for large P.Q.C. works. Recommended for
use as curing compound conforms to MORTH
specifications in India.

environmental influences.
„ Airport runways, port piers, motorways & highways.
„ Roof decks, retaining walls, slabs etc

Direction for use
AC-CURE-R(MS) can be sprayed on the concrete surface
immediately after casting & disappearance of water from
top surface. A time gap is to be allowed for evaporation of
the bleeding water. Avoid application when standing water
is present.
AC-CURE-R(MS) is supplied in ready to use form. While
carrying out application by spraying operation, the suitable
nozzle of spraying device should be held about
500 mm above the concrete surface & pump pressure be
maintained uniformly throughout the operation. Curing
compound should be agitated thoroughly in its container
before every spraying process.

Storage and Shelf life
Keep in tightly sealed containers. Temperatures below 5 0C
& above 30 0C should be avoided. Use within 6 months
from the date of manufacturing

Cleaning: Spray equipment and nozzles can be

cleaned by “AC-CURE-R(MS) ‟ Solvent” supplied
separately.

AC-CURE-R(MS) is non-toxic. Any splashes to the skin
should be washed immediately with water. Splashes to
the eyes should be washed immediately with water and
medical advice should be sought.
Fire: AC-CURE-R(MS) is flammable.
