PRÁCTICA 6 (CIANURACIÓN)
1. RESUMEN
S

2. ABSTRACT
The practice of cyanidation was carried out in order to control the operating conditions and obtain a final
concentrated solution. The test was started with the preparation of the pulp where the cyanidation process
was carried out for 2 hours which in the established times the pH was controlled and two samples were taken,
one for the titration of free cyanide with silver nitrate for its addiction and another one for the reading of atomic
absorption which, together with the times, the graph of the kinetics of cyanidation was obtained.
The process basically consists of filtering the sample with the help of the filtration equipment (percolation
process), in order to obtain the tailings and the final cyanide solution separately. In order to determine the Au
law of the final solution as well as the head and tail sample, the fire assay method is used and the metallurgical
balance and recovery percentage are calculated as a final calculation.
