Environment Modelling 2010
This is the major work for the environment modelling module in Australian Interactive
Entertainment’s Certificate II 3D Animation course. The cathedral is completed using polygon &
nurbs modelling, UV texturing, multiple lightings with glow effects and software rendering.
Character Modelling 2010
This is the major work for the character modelling module in Australian Interactive
Entertainment’s Certificate II 3D Animation course. The alien character is completed using
polygon modelling, UV texturing, glow effects and software rendering. It is then attached with
skeleton and skin and animated.
Group Animation Production 2010
This is the major work for the group production module in Australian Interactive Entertainment’s
Certificate II 3D Animation course. The animation is made by 4 people including me. Each
member of the group is in charge of creating one character in the modelling stage. Then each
group member is assigned 2-3 scenes to animate using the completed models. Then the scenes
are combined together and sound effects added using Adobe Premier. The animation is then put
into After Effects for adjustments and the addition of texts.
3D Modelling Class Final Project 2009
This is my final project for University 3D Modelling Class in Semester 2 2009, based on a PVC
toy robot model. Used polygon modelling, 3 point lighting, MIA material texture with
environment cube and mental ray rendering.
“Digital Tutor” 3D Modelling Online Tutorial 2009
By following the “Digital Tutor” Maya video tutorials, I was able to make a model of an old man
(face skin texture provided by tutorial package), and a model of a futuristic jet motorbike.
Digital Design Studio Final Photography/Film Making Project 2009
This is a major project for my university subject Digital Design Studio. Titled “Clown &
Auguste”, these are photographs which I took and digitally edited using Photoshop. Using these
photographs, me and my partner made a 3 minute montage film (shown in DVD showreel), using
Cannon XL2 camera, and then digitally edited using Final Cut Pro and After Effects. The
conceptualizing, costume & prop & stage designs and acting processes are my solo efforts. The
footage capturing and post production editing are a combined effort of me and my partner.
Flash Animation Major Project 2010
This is a major project animation made for my university subject Principles of Animation using
Adobe Flash and After Effects. (shown in DVD showreel)
Sydney City Toyota Service Promotional Video 2010
Recommended by my university lecturer, another university classmate and I completed a 20
minute service promotional video for Sydney City Toyota, highlighting all the features that they
offer to their customers.

My role in this project includes:

 Capturing footages within Toyota company building & factory
 Editing video using Final Cut Pro
 Doing rough prototyping of ideas and present to client using Maya 3D modelling
 Creating transitional effects using After Effects
Collaborative Virtual Environment Major Project 2010
This is the major project for my University course Collaborative Virtual Environment. Three
other fellow classmates and I made a team-building maze using the Virtual Environment game
Second Life. By using the 3D modelling tools and their game-specific scripting programming
language, we enables the maze to forge stronger relations between people by having them open up
communication channels and encourage cooperation. In doing so, players would develop skills
that would allow them to collaborate successfully together.

My role in this project includes:

 Assist in conceptualizing the designs of the environment and the functions
 Modelling the physical structures of the buildings and objects
 Create particle effects using scripts
 Coding signaling, automatic door and teleportation systems

Interactive design installation project InterAntarctica 2009

InterAntarctica (www.interantarctica.com) is a research project that provides a technological
platform to the public to interact, experience and gain knowledge about climate change. It
utilizes various technology mediums including edited Antarctic footage from Australia Antarctic
Division, interactive & ambient sound made by professional sound artist Michael Bates and
controlled by software MAXMSP, interactive Perspex objects with motion sensors and
interactive visual projection. The installation has been exhibited in the Australian National
University Canberra, and is due to exhibit in University of Sydney on 20 th November 2009. I was
specially selected by the Design Computing lecturer Onaclov to join this team of graduating
students and contribute my design abilities in my first year as a Design Computing student. This
project greatly helps me developing my ability to work as a team and teaches me how to solve
problems using the design knowledge and computer skills that I have.

My roles in this project are:

1. Edit Antarctica Footage including selecting, cutting, colorizing, assist in installing multiple
projector screen setup
2. Interviewing users at the exhibition and provide the team with a critical evaluation of the
project
Real Time Multimedia Particle Systems 2010
Done using a design programming language similar to Java called “Processing”, in my university
subject “Realtime Multimedia” I coded several basic particle systems using raw codes:
Design Programming - Graphics Design & Game Design 2009
This is a major work for my University subject Design Programming. These randomly generated
graphics designs and the game (all from what I called the “gear series”) were all done using a
design programming language similar to Java called “Processing”
HSC Visual Arts Final Painting 2008
Titled “Clown & Auguste”, these series of surrealist paintings inspired by Salvador Dali were
done in my final year of high school for my Visual Arts HSC Assignment.
