BlackBerry® Internet Service from du
BlackBerry® Internet Service is a packaged email solution that sends
your emails and calendar information to your phone. It can be easily
set up and works with common emails such as Yahoo! Mail Plus, MSN,
Hotmail Plus, Gmail and with other email accounts provided by your
Internet Service Provider1.
With BlackBerry®, you get automatic “push” delivery of messages and
integration with up to 10 web-based email accounts. Each email will have
a separate inbox on the BlackBerry® smartphone and you will be able to
choose any one of them for composing a new email or for replying. Your
email can now find you, wherever you are. Which means you can reply
there and then rather than wait until you’re back in the office, or you
could just use your BlackBerry® smartphone to make a call.

receive two confirmation messages in your BlackBerry® email inbox confirming your
registration and welcoming you to the service

You will also receive a confirmation message that your email service has been
successfully set up.
A new Inbox icon will appear in your BlackBerry® smartphone main menu
Once you have successfully set up your first email account, you can set up other
email accounts by repeating steps 2–6.
You can also set up your own BlackBerry® email address with domain du.blackberry.com.
To create one, please perform the following steps:

To create an email account using a PC, you will first need to create a username for
your BlackBerry® Internet Service from your smartphone.
Please always remember this username and password as you will require this for
logging on to www.du.blackberry.com.

Suspend / Resume email forwarding to your
BlackBerry® smartphone
Suspend or resume using your BlackBerry® smartphone
Should you wish to suspend the BlackBerry® service for your email account, e.g.
when travelling abroad, you can do so from your BlackBerry® smartphone. From
your BlackBerry® smartphone all your accounts will be suspended. However, on the
www.du.blackberry.com website you can select individual accounts that you wish to
suspend.
Step 1: Click on your Email Inbox icon on your smartphone main screen
Step 3: Click on Set Up Account
Step 4: Enter your Email address and Password and click Next
Step 2: Click on Options from the sub menu
You will see a dialog box confirming that “You have successfully configured access”.
To create other email accounts, please repeat steps 2-4.

To suspend email forwarding to your smartphone using a PC, please perform the

Swapping your BlackBerry® smartphone Swapping using a PC
