handmade goods. Agadir’s Ensemble Artisan is a cooperative where you can see artisans

creating ceramics, textiles, wooden items, and more.

25. The Memoire d’Agadir: Museum

27. La Médina d’Agadir

A few miles out from the city center is La Médina d’Agadir, a life-size, open-air recreation of
Agadir’s former medina, which was wrecked by the earthquake. Constructed in 1992 using
traditional Berber techniques, this place is part museum, part work of art.

28. Kasbah

The colossal walls of the Kasbah are Agadir's only proper historic attraction. The ramparts are the
sole survivor of what was once Agadir's fortified town, built to defend this sea port against attack.
The Kasbah dates from the mid-16th century and once housed a bustling population within its
walls. The walls themselves and the gateway are well-preserved, and their hillside position
provides excellent panoramic views across Agadir and the Atlantic coastline below. Come in late
afternoon for the best photography conditions.

A great day trip from Agadir, Souss-Massa National Park is especially good for keen
ornithologists. The beaches, dunes, and wetlands are home to an array of other creatures
too.
31. Museum Bert Flint
Bert Flint Museum bears the name of its owner, Dutch Professor of art history and a huge fan of
Morocco. Also called Tiskiwin Museum, the former home dedicated to the Moroccan craft
industry since 1996 is in Moorish architecture and decor.
It is a charming little museum of art and popular traditions from the Souss valley and the Sahara
region. It should be noted that another section of the museum is situated in Agadir.

32. Place Bijaouane, a la Cote

Bijaouane Place d'Agadir is ideally situated on the edge of the sea with stunning views of the bay.
The site is located in the hotel area of the city in front of the Royal Mirage and Anezi and is a
popular spot to enjoy breathtaking sunsets and stunning views.

The Place Bijaouane Agadir is ideaal gelegen aan de rand van de zee met een adembenemend

The Agadir Craft Market is composed of a mulitude of vendors and small shops offering
traditional Moroccan crafts like pottery, woven baskets, ironwork and more. The market was
moved to the centre of the new city of Agadir after 1960

The Museum Municipal du Patrimoine Amazigh is dedicated to preserving local Berber heritage.
Exhibits include jewellery, carpets, clothing, musical instruments and documents..
