of committed individuals came together believing that God was
doing something special in this community. That small beginning

Amy’s husband was injured and
couldn’t work. He wasn’t able to bring
in the income he once had. Amy and
her husband have four children. The
youngest was a toddler. They had a
need for diapers but didn’t have the
funds to provide. As Amy faced this
hardship, she was referred to the-
Mission. She was reluctant to go to
theMission because she was afraid
of being judged. To her surprise, she
was welcomed with love and open
arms. A volunteer listened to Amy’s
story, prayed with her, gave her a big
hug, and provided diapers during her
time of hardship. Amy left theMission
with the hope that everything would
be okay. Due to the great experience
Amy had at theMission, she decided
that she would one day serve there
as a volunteer and provide the hope
she received to someone else. Amy

people across the world need Jesus,
not just those close to home. Since
that first trip to Mexico, David’s
heart has not been the same. He
has been changed forever. He has

CAMBODIA
Children’s Feed Ministry
Continues & Second Campus
Started.
Pastor Pi Seth is our partnering
pastor in Cambodia. He & his wife
Sokunthea, lead the daily children’s
feed ministry out of their house
church. Sixty Children from the
dump area of Phnom Penh, are
taught Bible stories, worship,
hygiene practices, manners, and
worship songs as they are fed a
healthy lunch five days a week. A
second campus was started outside
of the city, in the village area. A
home for a new pastor was built
so he could live and invest in the
community. This helps cut down
on travel costs as well. Children,
youth, and women’s ministries are
consistent on the second campus.
God is doing great things through
22 the ministry in Cambodia.
THE BRONX, NY
Church Plant.
We continue our support of,
“Everlasting Church”, a church-plant
located in the Bronx, New York.
Jordan and Becky Sauceda, with
the North American Mission Board
and partnering churches, have
begun this vital work. New York is
home to 192 different nationalities.
The Bronx has a high Albanian
population. During VBS, children
from First Owasso donated $4000
to help secure a regular space for
the church to meet. The church is
growing with people from all over
the world hearing every week about
the grace of God given through
Jesus. We praise God for all that He
is doing in the Bronx.

23
VENEZUELA

The Work Continues Despite

Hard Times.
If you’ve watched the news lately
you’ve seen that the country
of Venezuela is struggling
economically & spiritually. This
leads to struggles among most
families and churches in Venezuela.
Despite the economic & spiritual
hardships, Pastor Alexis Lopez
continues to evangelize his
community, disciple his church
members, and even go on mission
trips outside his community.
The support we provide Alexis
tremendously helps him, his family,
and church. Prayers for this pastor,
family, church, and country are
much needed.

24
ENGLAND

This country isn’t like it used to be.

Years ago churches were full of
people and vibrant. Today, many of
the old churches are empty, used as
museums, or have been sold off. We
partner with Mike Taylor/ UK-USA
Ministries. He is called to help revive
what once was. God is moving in
this ministry as they reach people
for Jesus through churches, schools,
and sports camps. Our college
students had a short-term trip to
England in July. We experienced 16
people receive Christ while we were
there.

25
GENEROSITY
FUELS THE
MISSION
Generosity is giving out
of the abundance of
what God has given you.

We hope it’s easy to see

that every dollar you
give goes to help people
and share the love of
Jesus, here, there, and
everywhere.

26
A GOD-SIZED VISION
n Generosity grows as a grateful person actively
plans to use who they are and what they have for
the benefit of others.

n Generous people are DISCIPLINED givers. They

have a plan for WHEN & WHERE to give.
They give regularly, as often as God gives the
increase.

n They give specifically, with prayerful

consideration, they know where their gifts will go.

n Generous people are PERCENTAGE givers. They

have a plan for HOW MUCH to give.
They set aside a percentage of their income as they
plan to give.

n In the Old Testament, people were encouraged

to devote 10% of their income for the purpose of
honoring God in all He has given them.

n We hope everyone gives something and that

everyone who gives is moving to 10%. 27
